Waking up to the Bermudian sunrise, was breathtaking, or so I am told, I don’t get up that early ;)   But I heard from those who did, that it was beautiful seeing the sun rise up from over the Bermudian landscape.

As the day began, it was time to get headed towards our first excursion, and that was to go snorkeling over one of the many coral reef’s that are scattered all over the coast of the island.  We took a catamaran out to the reef and after a brief lesson on snorkeling, we were told we could jump right in!  For me, this was particularly exciting, as I own a saltwater reef fish tank at home, and to be able to see the very thing that I have modeled at my home, was pretty exciting, so as you can imagine, I was one of the first to jump in.

Unfortunately, I do not own a waterproof case for my camera, so I was unable to take it with me, but we bought a waterproof film camera, and I will post those pictures up when I get them developed.

After about an hour of looking through the reef, swimming with the fish (some of which would go right up to your mask, almost expecting you to feed it), and getting face to face with some truly incredible corals, we sailed back to the harbor (oh, and did I mention, this boat had a bar, and free soda drinks for the kids onboard!).

Sitting over the beautiful harbor, our incredible time in Bermuda had come to an end; it was time to say goodbye.  So we waved goodbye to the majestic island of Bermuda, the sun setting over it, as we sailed off into the Atlantic awaiting another adventure in the very near future, on our Royal Caribbean cruise on Enchantment of the Seas!
