Singles Safari - Kenya Africa

**Don't Miss the Migration **

The great annual migration of millions of zebra, wildebeest and other antelope top almost every list of safari experiences - East Africa is the stage for the world's greatest wildlife drama. The migration is an annual journey of hundreds of thousands of animals from the Serengeti in Tanzania, to the Masai Mara in Kenya. Predators follow the Wildebeest Migration closely, waiting for an opportunity to strike weak prey as they make their way into different territories. The precise timing of the Wildebeest Migration changes annually and is a very unpredictable and spontaneous natural event. The best time to see the migration is usually between June and August when the wildebeest congregate and prepare to cross the famous Grumeti River. If you are in the Masai Mara you can expect the wildebeest to make their arrival as early as July, but they generally arrive between August and September

Kilimanjaro (5895m), the park is well renowned for its huge herds of elephants and various types of other Savannah wildlife such as Giraffes, Bushbuck's, Kudu, Warthog's, Zebra's and over 425 species of birds recorded here. The snowcapped peak of Kilimanjaro rising above white clouds dominates every aspect of Amboseli and forms a backdrop to an impressive display of wildlife attracted to this location by swamps and springs fed by underground rivers from Kilimanjaro's melting snow. The park is also home to the Masai people, those tall, brave, and proud nomads who live in close harmony with the environment and wildlife that surrounds them.

Enjoy a game drive en-route, as we arrive in time for your lunch at the AMBOSELI SERENA LODGE or AMBOSELI SOPA LODGE, situated deep in the heart of the world famous Amboseli National Park. The lodge itself draws on a subtle Maasai cultural motif, featuring natural woodcarvings, traditional artefacts and a glowing selection of local art.
